1. Start by tempering the milk and pour it into a bowl. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Add the eggs and vanilla essence or sugar. Stir until smooth.
2. It’s time to make the caramel. To do this, we add the 50 gr. sugar to a saucepan and add three tablespoons of water. Return to the heat and stir occasionally. When the mixture turns golden brown, pour the caramel into the flan pan.
4. When you can open the jar, we take the flan out and let it air cool. When it has cooled down a bit, cover it with aluminum foil and place it in the fridge for at least 5 hours.
5. After this time, take the flan out of the refrigerator, take it out of the mold… and enjoy!
