Prepare the Cornbread Batter:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and honey. Mix until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
Bake the Cornbread:
Grease a cast-iron skillet or baking dish, and pour in the cornbread batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Make the Honey Butter Glaze:
While the cornbread is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Add honey and stir until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
Remove the cornbread from the oven and immediately pour the warm honey butter glaze over the top.
Let it soak for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
