Make the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, warm milk, sugar, butter, egg, and salt. Knead the mixture until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and allow it to rise until it has doubled in size, about an hour.
Shape and fry: Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch and cut out donut shapes with a cutter. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan and fry the donuts until they turn golden brown. Place the fried donuts on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Fill and finish: Once the donuts have cooled slightly, use a piping bag to inject each donut with the strawberry cream filling. Lightly dust the tops of the filled donuts with powdered sugar and savor the sweet, fruity delight!
