Limestone is made of calcium carbonate, an alkaline compound, so it requires an acid to dissolve and remove it. Vinegar, for example, is a very useful product in this regard.
Vinegar and Lemon
The acids in both ingredients dissolve toilet stains and limescale deposits, also eliminating odor-causing microorganisms.
Bicarbonate and hydrogen peroxide
The combination of these two ingredients has the particularity of whitening surfaces, and is therefore perfect for darker limescale. In addition, it has a disinfectant effect.
Mix 80 grams of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and use a sponge to scrub the solution onto surfaces.
After 30 minutes, rinse with plenty of water and voila, a very clean and fragrant bathroom.
