Why You’ll Love Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
Ingredients
For the Lobster Tails:
2 large lobster tails
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
For the Preparation:
Kitchen scissors (for cutting the lobster tails)
Baking sheet
Instructions
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the center to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base. This not only enhances presentation but also allows the lobster to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat, reserving the rest for serving.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
4. Serve:
