From an ordinary evening to an irreparable tragedy
It all started like any other evening. Petrit and Sabrina went shopping, but the tension that had been building up for months exploded in the car. Arguments about lifestyle, independence, and personal choices became commonplace. Such conflicts are common in many families, but in Lekai’s case, they escalated. That night, the argument destroyed a young life and forever shattered the bond between father and daughter. Judge Kelly called it a “crushing betrayal of the parent-child relationship,” words that reflected the deep grief of Romina’s mother, as well as her friends, classmates, and the entire local community.
